History

Ocean Road Photography was born in the mountains back in 1989, introduced to high end action photography by Tony Harrington in Colorado they were exciting times , as Tonys stunt performer I was totally excited by what Tony was able to produce through his lenses. After receiving many tips and advice from Tony, I myself became a very keen photographer. It was not until 1997 when an opportunity came up to join the ranks of on snow photographer for Fun Photos at Mt Buller; that a career in Photography became a reality . Shooting around 300 rolls of film each season for three season trained me up well into the correct dynamics of good photography. Since 1999 , I have been in Lorne capturing many great moments through the lens ; The Great Ocean Road and surrounds are a total visual feast with many World class events, scenery and action. The main highlight each year as a photographer down here is working on and capturing the Falls Festival, which ORP has been a part of for 4 years . Up until November 2004, photography was a part time/casual job , that was until toxic illness forced me out of the house painting game. At which time ,a decision to make an investment in professional series digital camera and top line lens from Canon was the necessary step to take my images to the next level and become, a true professional that can consistently produce high standard results.
